Admissions Process

Letters of Recommendation

One letter is required, but two are preferred to better understand your academic and professional strengths.

Professional Statement of Objectives

A brief essay outlining your academic interests, career goals, and fit with the chosen program.

CV/Resume

A detailed overview of your education, work experience, certifications, and relevant skills.

Illinois Tech requires a minimum three-year bachelor’s degree from NAAC “A” or better institutions that are conferred with a minimum cumulative average of 60% (second class) or a ‘7’/’good’ rating. Please refer to individual program entry requirements and specific criteria.

Unless you qualify for a waiver, all graduate applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through TOEFL iBT (80 or above, with a minimum of 20 in each band), IELTS (6.5 or above, with a minimum of 6 in each band), or Duolingo English Test (115 or above, with a minimum of 115 in all subscores).
